What happens
Transfer to the mainland
Meet at the resort dock at 6:30 AM. Transfer to the mainland, then drive approximately one hour to Nohoch Che'en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve.
Zipline
Harness up and climb to the first platform. Eight runs through the rainforest canopy, heights up to 250 feet, including runs crossing the Caves Branch River below. Approximately 45 minutes of flying.
Cave tubing
Swap the harness for an inner tube, helmet, and headlamp. Hike 25 to 30 minutes through the jungle to the river entrance. Float through ancient limestone caves the Maya believed led to the underworld. Stalactites, crystal formations, and echoing chambers lit only by your headlamp. The river does the work.
Lunch and return
Belizean lunch at the reserve. Drive back and transfer to the resort. Back by approximately 6:00 PM.
